In less than five years, the show has brought a staggering 50 million people worldwide to their feet at sold out theaters, arenas and stadiums. Lord of the Dance proved a top tourist draw during its four-year run at the New York New York Hotel in Las Vegas, NV and upon its close in July 2002, had put on 1560 performances for 1.3 million people.
